I am a 39 year old wife and mom. I live in Georgia, here in the states. Ulta and ColourPop Haul

Hi, and welcome back! I will start out by saying that I've never done a makeup haul anything before. So, please bear with me as I try and figure out the best way to do this. That being said, and for those who do not know me, I am La'Shawn. I am a makeup lover...and when I say, lover...I mean obsessive collector. haha. I am a collector by heart. If I really start to like something, well, I collect it. Panda bears and digital scrapbooking supplies are a great example. Makeup is now no different.

I had a bit of pocket money, saved up my Ulta points, and had a 20% off (prestige brands included) coupon. So with that and ColourPop's always affordable prices, I loaded up on all kinds of makeup goodies. Hold on to your hat's ladies and gentlemen...here is my Ulta and CoulourPop Haul.

I also like to be transparent. All these views are my own. You like something I don't, or don't like something I do, that is a-okay. No judging here. Just like my MeeMaw says, "If we were all the same, what a boring world we would live in." Right? Also, there are no affiliate links in this post. As well as nothing sponsored. I bought all these products with my hard-earned moola.

ColourPop Goodies

I should do a count of how many ColourPop lippies I have. More than I can probably wear to empty in a lifetime. But never more than I need. haha. So what you see here is:
All of this cost me a total of $34!! (shipping is free over $30). ColourPop is wonderfully affordable. Not only that though, for me, they are wonderful products as well. Their matte and blotted lippies dry down beautifully, stay put, and do not dry out my lips. The blotted lippies are my favorite for every day. Just the right amount of color. I wear a Super Shock shadow about every other day. Usually more. I am trying out their foundation this week. I will be back on Instagram to update you on my thoughts about that. I will also be posting the lipstick swatches on Instagram in the coming days. So be on a lookout for those.

A Closer Look

I wanted to show you a closer look at the Super Shock Shadow in Bouncy. That is the shadow without the lid I extracted and added to this photo. It is on sale for $3 right now. I am pretty sure once it is gone, it is gone. I don't know why this one is in the goodbye sale. It is sooo pretty and hands-down my favorite Super Shock Shadow. On their website, it looks kind of green. Which I was okay with. That might be why it is on sale though. Not everyone is out for a green eyeshadow. It is gorgeous in person though! Just the slightest green to it. To me, I would say it was more of a gunmetal gray.

Ulta Goodies

Like I mentioned before, I had a 20% off coupon and saved points for Ulta. I will also point out that what I am about to showcase is not everything that I got this shipment. I am missing a primer and a highlighter that came busted to Hadees and back.

I am pretty late to the makeup obsession game. One of these palettes below is soooo many peoples "Ride or Die" palette. I can see why! Another one I wasn't so sure about but is now been on my eyeballs every day this week. And the other is one I've been wanting since the first peek of it came out online.

I don't shy away from color when it comes to eyeshadows. I love them. I never want to look like a clown. Usually, I do not have a face full of glam. Most days I am just a touch of color to go sit in a mill and do my customer service thang. I am also not the most talented at makeup. At nearly 35, I am still learning. :-)

The Jaclyn Hill Palette - Morphe

Look at all color!!! This is the one that is sooo many people's "Ride or Die" palette. Just search online for looks for this. You will be blown away! My favorite is that aqua in the left corner, the cobalt (or Tardis as we geeks call it) blue, and that duochrome pink/gold color in the top row (2nd from right). This is going to be the one I think that helps me along with the bolder and glam looks. I cannot wait to give this a try! Feel free to pop me some of your looks with this palette in the comments below! I know some of you have this beauty!

Carli Bybel Delux Edition Palette - BH Cosmetics

This sweet palette I kept putting in my cart, then taking out of my cart, only to put it back in at the end. The reason I was on the fence about this one was that I feel like I mostly have all these colors in other palettes. Even though from the start of my makeup obsession, I had been looking for something exactly like this. Just like in scrapbooking (where I usually only scrap within one kit), I loved the idea of one everyday palette that has a complete look for me. This is it! Right down to the highlighters. I am so glad that I go this pretty palette. It is Wednesday while I am typing this. I have worn this every day this week! (check out Instagram in the coming days for looks with this and swatches with that OFRA lippie you see)  Unfortunately, this pretty lady is no longer available for purchase. Which makes me even happier that I got it!

Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette by Urban Decay

I probably state that Urban Decay is one of my favorites! They do have some hit or misses. The two before this one (the beachy one and the Talk Back one) I didn't care for or get. The moment I saw the 1st peek of this stunner, I knew I was going to get it! For the same reason, Urban Decay is one of my favs. Look at all that color! Now, this is straight out of the box. You can see a bit of fallout without even touching the shadows yet.  The trip was rough. Like I said, two of my items bit the dust on the way to me. Fallout does not bother me though. As long as the color payout is good...and this one is! I am waiting for some more down time to really play with this palette. I cannot wait to see what I come up with. Make sure if you have used this one, to drop me some looks down int he comments. I love inspiration!

I did get a few liquid lipsticks as well, that I have not posted. I have swatches and wear tests ready to go. I think I am going to save those for Instagram though. When I was trying to narrow down what color of lipstick I was going to get, Instagram was such a huge help! So they will be over there in the coming days.

That is all for this haul. We are currently trying to save up some money. So the next haul might be a bit in the future. In the meantime, let me be envious of yours! Link me up in the comments below. Your hauls, your looks, your suggestions. I love all of that!!
