I cannot believe that it has been a year since we were blessed with my new little niece. A year! I guess it is no different for nieces as it is for nephews and sons! You blink, and they are grown. Wasn't it just a second ago we were talking about my kiddo being a year old? Realistically it has been years and years. But it truly feels like not that long ago. He is now nearly as tall as me, in the middle school and graduating highschool is closer to us that him being a year old was. Sigh...
But back to K's birthday. It is fun having a little girl in the family. I finally can really pink and glitter up my scrapbook pages with all the girly goodness. Don't get me wrong. I never shied away from the girly themed digital scrapbooking layouts. As my son says. "It's just a color!" I slapped all the pretty pinks, purples and glitters on the boy's pages.
K's 1st birthday was last week; and we celebrated last weekend. I took lots of photos and have many more to scrap. Here are two layouts using a new product from Tinci Designs & some great older items from the GingerScrap's store.
