Hello again! I think we can officially say that I am back at the blogging thing, right? Three posts in one week's time. Whoo hoo! Today's post is going to be short-and-sweet and a start of a new weekly series. From the Archives. It is basically exactly like it sounds. I've been scrapping since 2009. I've been adding layouts to the digital scrapbooking world's galleries since 2010. Now, a lot of those galleries and stores are no more. However, GingerScraps and Sweet Shoppe Designs still is! I have layouts in their galleries going back to 2010. Mostly starting around 2011 though. And sadly, a lot the designers are not designing and selling anymore either. But, if they are still selling, I will be adding their store information & maybe some of my favorite things currently in their store to the post. I would be surprised if some of the products from 2010 are still in store. Without further ado...
This is a layout from my first ever creative team. This is using Hello Sunshine Bundle with HK Designs by Marshmella Designs. This layout is from the Spring of 2011. This was from the days before all the creative teams were on facebook, and we were working out of forums. This designer and I would spend hours on email talking back and forth. I miss her and her designs. I'm not going to lie...I also miss that little boy in that yellow hat. He was so tiny!! I also cannot believe we've been in our house for 10 years now!
The next layout is from the desk of Aprilisa Designs. Lisa and I are still friends to this day. We started out on a creative team called Designs by Tater at ScrapMatters. Both of which are no longer around. Our kids were around the same age, and it was so cool having a friend 1000s of miles away. One of these days I would love to meet Lisa face-to-face. Now, Lisa is still designing!! Here is my layout that I created using Swim Like a Fish from Aprilisa Designs.
Great, right?! You can tell that Lisa is a scrapper herself. Her collections are packed full of items scrappers actually use! Templates that are wonderfully composed, and her themes are so awesome! I promise I am not just singing her praises because I am on her team. I truly love her designs and hope to see her designing for many years to come.
I am sure you will see more of her pop up in these Archive blog posts. She is one of the few that I've been scrapping with for all these years. And she literally has 47 pages full of stuff in her store right now. So, I have no doubt I will be back with more.
Until then, keep capturing those memories, and keeping those memories! I hope to be soon with another series that I would like to start here on Shawn Bear Scraps. Fingers crossed...I'm back...right? :-)
