I was wishing for it on my last post, and it is here! Yay. I am here for warmer days. My sinuses are not as happy though. Every year around this time, my allergies go in high gear. It is never fun, it is less so in a pandemic and everyone looks at you like your are patient zero because you've lost your voice. But anyway, I am dropping in today to showcase some pretty spring inspired digital scrapbooking layouts and supplies. And maybe some not spring ones as well.
I have been scrapping up a storm. So, I will make my jibber jabber short and sweet, and get right on to the digital scrapbooking goodies.
Up first are some beautiful collections that just screamed wedding to me. I think a lot of Spring digital scrapbooking supplies do that for me. I struggle a bit with the more muted and pastel supplies. I like bold and bright to scrap with! So I find myself scrapping weddings a lot when it comes to Spring digital scrapbooking supplies. And of course there are a lot of flowers in those usually. So that helps.
Up first is my beautiful sister in law at her wedding. It was a beautiful Spring wedding and she was stunning! We had a lot of fun dancing the night away. Even Isaiah got into the dancing. This is a horrible photo, but this was one for the memory books. Isaiah dancing the night away with his glow sticks, and my brother in law's granddad laughing away! Isaiah is extremely introverted, and not one to put himself out there like that. But he had an absolute blast dancing!
And for these two layouts I used the lovely collection by Jen Yurko called You are My Flower. I used the bundle. Mainly because I really like the newspaper papers and you know me...I love to cluster up my flowers. On all my layouts. Kind of like their own little bouquet. :-) To be transparent, I did get this collection for free in order to make layouts for the designer to use in advertising. I am showing you here on my blog though, because I love them!
Up next is my beautiful sister at her wedding. It was not a Spring wedding. In fact the opposite. It was a beautiful Autumn wedding. Autumn is my jam! I freaking love that season. So much so my bedroom is decorated Autumnally. Anyway, that is totally not the point of this. Here is the layout I made for her wedding. I used Homestead Wedding by Megan's Creations and the template is Picture Perfect 221 by Aprilisa Designs. Both of which were given to me to work with for example layouts. If it it makes it to the blog though, it is because I love it! :-)
I do think I am going to cut this post down into at least two. That way I am not overloading you. However, I do want to show one more layout. This one I bought, but is really cool! It is the cover to my printed book that is currently in transit to my house. I will show you what it looks like when it gets here. Make sure to follow me on my instagram for the closer look. Here is my layout using capture the memories bundle: simple pleasure designs by jennifer fehr
That is all for today. I will be back in a jiffy with some more Spring inspired digital scrapbooking layouts and supplies.
