We started this tradition when there were only two boys. They were really little too. Here we are 8 years later and it has become a beloved family tradition. This year the 3 oldest actually carved their pumpkins. That makes it a lot easier for the adults. There were many years that adults were carving 2+ pumpkins. Here they are through the years:
A few years ago, we made this annual tradition more of a party. We added fun Halloween games and prizes! We pop on some Halloween music, and the boys have a blast. If you are sensitive to noise, this isn't the tradition for you. Man-oh-man these boys can get loud! I love it so much though! I pray that this is a tradition that passes down to their kids. We took a lot of photos. I am not going to post them all here. But I did want to show a few of them.
Such a fun tradition! I cannot wait to scrap those photos. Speaking of scrapping...(see what I did there. lol). I have a few digital scrapbooking layouts to show you as well. One is Halloween themed, and the other is of my handsome guys. Both are using Bella Gypsy Designs.(images are linked to their counterparts in the store)
Keeping with the Halloween theme. First up is another Halloween layout. I've said it before, and I will keep saying it. Well, and buying it too. lol. I can never have too many Halloween digital scrapbooking supplies! As in the words of my middle nephew. "If you don't like Halloween, you're in the wrong family!" lol. We love it nearly as much as Christmas! I used the Haunted Collection by Bella Gypsy Designs.
Up next is one of my new favorite kits/collections. Yes, I do love all things Halloween. But nothing beats a good guy-themed digital scrapbooking kit. Kind of like when you go shopping for little boy clothes in any store. You have to walk through the miles of girly clothes to get to the little corner of boys. Now, the digital scrapbooking community does balance it a bit better. It isn't miles of girly things. But when a good guy-themed collection comes up, you better believe I snap that baby up! Then scrap that baby. haha. I especially love the word art in this collection. I mean come on...."Breaking Hearts & Blasting Farts" How funny is that?
Not to mention the "Never Not Talking" one. My kid is like his mama. We can fill some silence. lol. I love how this layout turned out. It might be because of the handsome men in it. I used Stinkin' Cute by Bella Gypsy Designs.
Well folks, that is all I have for today. I hope you have a great week. For those trick-or-treating, be safe and have fun. Hopefully we get to. It is supposed to storm. Make sure you check back later this week. Friday is November 1st, and the start of the November Special Feature posts.
Happy scrapping and Happy Halloween everyone!
